The moonless night flowed like a river of darkness through the tightly sealed apartment window, coloring the interior with an inky blackness. The nights icy feelers clutched at the window panes, so youd understand her thick, albeit silky pajamas. Her hair, a satiny flaxen curtain, shimmered in the half light. One would almost believe that it had captured the starlight from the sky, as starlight was never seen in the city.
